STYLE Bangkok October 2019 kicks off with widest array of lifestyle products and exciting activities BITEC, Bangna open its doors for shoppers until this October 21

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce organizes the STYLE Bangkok October 2019. The Fair features the widest array of lifestyle products encompassing 1,841 booths. Plus, exciting activities and a series of enriched seminars that aim to enhance the lifestyle entrepreneurs potential. The five-day trade show takes place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) until October 21, 2019, set to drive Thailand towards becoming the destination of lifestyle products.

According to the analysis on business trends and trade shows in the lifestyle product industry, it was discovered that nowadays lifestyle product business had significantly changed. Apart from the fact that traditional Big Box buyers have decreased in numbers, an array of new business models such as design store buyer, multi-brand store, and selected shop, emerged and had a tendency to grow rapidly. It is worth mentioning that these business models no longer sold only one product category, but rather gathered products of different categories that formed a wide variety of collections to meet the precise needs of customers, who tended to buy niche products, resulting in products being more accessible.

STYLE Bangkok October 2019 is the 5th edition of its kind. This fair is organized to meet world lifestyle trends and buyers’ needs as well as to respond to the changes in behavior of buyers/importers who tend to reduce their costs and expenses, in particular expenses related to business travel to trade fairs held around the world to make purchases. Therefore, the new innovative 3-in-1 model will facilitate buyers, allowing them to handpick, select, and purchase a wide variety of products all under one roof while meeting the exact needs of all types of buyers and sellers, whether it be retailers, concept stores, buying agents, designers, real estate entrepreneurs, domestic and overseas malls. In addition, the fair also provides exhibitors the opportunity to meet more diverse buyers and traders.

At STYLE Bangkok October 2019, visitors will have chance to browse for top lifestyle products presented by Thai and international producers including designed products, award-wining designs, innovative goods, as well as Niche Markets such as products for senior citizen (60+), mom & kids, pet and OTOP for Export.

In addition, STYLE Bangkok also features a seminar at the STYLE de Bangkok Hotel Showcase exhibition, located at Hall 102. Scheduled programs are as follows; October 20, 2019, from 1 p.m. onwards is the seminar entitled “Techniques for developing lifestyle products for tourists” by Mr. Songpol Nenkanthi, brand creator and strategic planner and Mr. Dusadee Boonchaisri, Founder and Creative Director at nonnormative. On October 21, 2019, from 1 p.m. onwards is the seminar on topic “Green Purchasing” by Mr.Anthony La Capara, Senior Vice President – Project EMMA Design & Construction, Singha Estate Public Company Limited.
