STYLE Bangkok 2025 Defies Global Economic Slowdown, Generating over 1.4 Billion Baht in Trade Value and Reinforcing Thailand’s Potential as a Global Trading Hub for Design, Lifestyle and Fashion Products
STYLE Bangkok 2025, Thailand’s premier international lifestyle and fashion trade fair, organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) in collaboration with the Board of Trade of Thailand, recorded an impressive trade value of more than 1.4 billion baht over the course of the event. The fair welcomed close to 25,000 buyers and visitors, both local and international, representing 60 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a global hub for design, lifestyle and fashion excellence.
Minister of Commerce Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan commented on the event’s success, stating that “STYLE Bangkok 2025 has once again demonstrated that the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai designers, as well as the production of quality-standard goods by Thai manufacturers, can compete on the world stage. Despite ongoing challenges in global trade, Thailand remains committed to boosting exports through high-value lifestyle and fashion products. By continually developing goods that integrate new functionality and prioritise sustainability, we are responding to the evolving needs of the global market. The success of this fair reflects Thailand’s ability to adapt and thrive amidst the shifting landscape of the world economy.”
STYLE Bangkok 2025 generated over 1.4 billion baht in total trade value across five days of international exchange. The fair welcomed close to 25,000 visitors from Thailand and overseas, with the top ten attending countries and regions including China, Taiwan, Japan, India, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.
Exhibitors reported strong business outcomes, with many securing export deals on the spot—underscoring STYLE Bangkok’s role as a key trade platform for lifestyle and fashion industries. The fair catered to businesses at every level, from global players such as Yothaka, whose designs have appeared in hit TV series and Maison & Objet in France, to Korakot, whose pieces feature in interiors for international brands. Acclaimed names like Rati, Qualy, and Amo Arte also captured buyers’ attention with sustainable collections crafted from Thai natural materials—resonating with global trends in conscious consumerism.
STYLE Bangkok continues to champion diversity and opportunity in the design and export landscape, opening doors for manufacturers, exporters, emerging designers, and regional entrepreneurs alike. With a growing reputation as Southeast Asia’s design-forward lifestyle and fashion fair, it provides a meaningful gateway for Thai talent to reach global markets.
“I instructed the Office of Commercial Affairs nationwide to identify and select high-potential local entrepreneurs from different regions of Thailand to take part in this year’s fair,” said Mr. Pichai. “Many of the participating companies and community enterprises received an overwhelmingly positive response. I firmly believe that through close collaboration between the DITP and provincial commercial offices, we can build stronger support networks to help local entrepreneurs scale up and compete in international markets more effectively.”
STYLE Bangkok 2025 also provided a powerful platform for regional entrepreneurs to showcase their potential and take confident steps into the global market. Through the support of provincial commercial offices, nearly 150 exhibitors from across Thailand’s regions were invited to present their products, test the market, and build international exposure. Many reported remarkable successes, securing sizeable orders from project clients, leading retailers, department stores, and overseas buyers. Notable highlights included Leaf Creation Co., Ltd.,
a BCG-aligned brand producing vegan leather goods from sustainably sourced teak leaves, which secured export orders from Russian and French buyers; and the Ban Na Yod Thong Napa Wickerwork Community Enterprise from Trang province, which received immediate purchase orders from a Hong Kong-based buyer—totalling over 18 million baht in on-the-spot sales.
Mr. Pichai added, “STYLE Bangkok is one of the Department of International Trade Promotion’s key initiatives for advancing Thailand’s soft power policy. It aims to create added value through innovation and creativity, while opening new commercial opportunities grounded in the country’s biodiversity and rich cultural heritage. The fair supports entrepreneurs at every level, and our goal is to position Thailand as a leading hub for design-led lifestyle and fashion products in the ASEAN region.”
In addition to the dynamic product showcases, STYLE Bangkok 2025 dazzled visitors with a series of curated exhibitions that celebrated the breadth and brilliance of Thailand’s lifestyle and fashion sectors. Among the highlights was the “Pha Thai Sai Hai Sanook” Pavilion, a vibrant tribute to Thai textiles, held under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari
Nariratana Rajakanya. Here, traditional fabrics met contemporary design in a spirited exploration of heritage, play, and reinvention.
