STYLE Bangkok 2025 Officially Opens: Thailand’s Flagship Lifestyle and Fashion Trade Fair Returns—Organised by DITP in Partnership with the Board of Trade of Thailand and 23 Leading Organisations to Spotlight Exporters and SMEs

STYLE Bangkok 2025, Thailand’s premier international trade fair for lifestyle and fashion, officially opened its doors today at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The event is hosted by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) in collaboration with the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), bringing together a vibrant showcase of products from leading Thai exporters and SMEs—all with the goal of boosting the national economy and driving exports.
Presiding over the opening ceremony was Mr. Suchat Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, who welcomed international buyers and trade professionals to experience the creativity, quality, and commercial potential of Thai lifestyle and fashion products. With more than 440 exhibitors participating, the event is expected to generate a trade value of no less than 1.6 billion baht.
The Deputy Minister of Commerce highlighted that for Thailand, the lifestyle and fashion sector plays a vital role in driving the national economy. With over 90% of the industry made up of SMEs, it supports more than two million jobs across the country. On the export front, Thai lifestyle and fashion products generated more than USD 9.7 billion in revenue in 2024—an increase of 4.29%—and are projected to exceed USD 10 billion in 2025.
Mr. Suchat added that creative lifestyle and fashion products are a key part of the Thai government’s soft power strategy, aimed at strengthening the country’s global competitiveness and reinforcing Thailand’s position on the world stage. In this regard, STYLE Bangkok serves as a strategic platform under the Ministry of Commerce to propel soft power policies forward—placing emphasis on value creation through creativity and innovation, while opening new commercial opportunities grounded in the nation’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.
“I commend STYLE Bangkok for translating the Ministry’s vision into reality through its diverse programming,” the Deputy Minister said. “This event serves as both a promotional platform and a source of inspiration—particularly on matters such as environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices in line with ESG principles. It also offers meaningful support to high-potential local entrepreneurs, empowering them to grow and compete confidently on the global stage. I strongly believe that every business can thrive alongside a commitment to environmental and social responsibility.”
Ms. Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), added that STYLE Bangkok is a collaborative initiative between the DITP and the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), with strong support from both the public and private sectors, as well as industry associations—a total of 23 strategic partner organisations. The fair serves as a key platform for Thai SMEs, Micro SMEs, emerging designers, and local entrepreneurs to showcase their creative capabilities to a global audience.
She emphasised that STYLE Bangkok is not only a showcase of product excellence, but also a dynamic space for knowledge exchange, trend discovery, and business networking. Through curated special activities—such as market trend seminars led by international experts, fashion trend exhibitions, and displays promoting sustainable and eco-conscious innovation—the fair fosters meaningful connections and forward-thinking ideas.
