The Department of Export Promotion (DEP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Koelnmesse,
the world-class food exhibition organizer from Germany, have once again joined forces to organize
THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2007. The event is set to become the grandest and most significant
food exposition in Asia-Pacific, as well as, a key driving force to steer Thailand to become one of the
world’s leading food producers.

Mrs. Benjawan Ratanaprayul, DEP Deputy Director-General, stated that, “The THAIFEX – World of Food
ASIA 2007 will be a great platform for entrepreneurs in food-related industries to meet and exchange their business know-how. This year’s event will feature leading food producers from over 30 countries including
the United States, Canada, France, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and many other countries
from Africa, the European Union and within Asia. The event will take place between May 23rd-27th, 2007,
at the Challenger Hall 2-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.”
