DEP invites entrepreneurs to take part in a logistics symposium
featuring gurus from Thailand and overseas
at the Thailand International Logistics Fair 2008
… and it’s all free-of-charge!

The Department of Export Promotion (DEP) has announced it will be organizing a logistics symposium featuring over 20 Thai and international logistics experts and over 10 interesting topics, at the upcoming Thailand International Logistics Fair 2008 (TILF 2008). The seminar is aimed to contribute to expanding and strengthening Thailand’s logistics networks, minimizing export costs and maximizing competitiveness. And best of all, admission is all free-of-charge!

Mr. Panot Punyahotra, Director Office of Trade Logistics, the Department of Export Promotion, stated that, “The Thailand International Logistics Fair 2008 is scheduled to take place this September 11th-13th, at BITEC Bangna, and it will be organized under the theme of ‘ASEAN Logistics Networks’. One highlight of the event is undoubtedly the grand symposium featuring over 20 logistics experts from Thailand and beyond.”
 
The list of illustrious keynote speakers includes the following.

Mr.Thanit Sorat, Vice President of Federation of Thai Industries
Mr.Bui Ngoc Loan, Chairman of Vietnam Freight Forwarders Association (VIFFAS)
Mr. Cao Rong Xin, Modern Logistics Association of Yunnan
Mr. Anthony Wong, President of Hong Kong Logistics Association
Mr. Miklos Horvath, Chairman of Hungarian Logistics Cluster

The talks will also extend to relevant logistics regulations in ASEAN, especially for the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) countries including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
