New at Thailand Logistics Fair 2006,
DEP organizes 'B2B Matching'
to connect business entrepreneurs
with leading logistics providers
Department of Export
Promotion (DEP) plans to organize a ‘Business
to Business Matching’ event (B2B Matching) for Thai business entrepreneurs
to meet up with leading logistics service providers from Thailand
and beyond, including the United States, Europe and Asia. The event
aims at minimizing operational costs and maximizing product distribution
capabilities for Thai entrepreneurs through modern, new-concept logistics
services available at the upcoming Thailand Logistics Fair 2006.
Mrs. Jantra Purnariksha, DEP Director-General, stated that, “The Thailand
Logistics Fair 2006 event will take place on July 13th – 15th,
2006, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The
event promises to feature over 120 leading logistics service providers
from Thailand and beyond in as many as 180 exhibition booths. One
highlight of the event is the exciting ‘B2B Matching’ that matches
up Thai business entrepreneurs in need of good, efficient logistics
service with the service providers capable of assisting them. This
special activity aims at helping Thai businesses to benefit more from
the improved and extended product distribution network made possible
through excellent logistics service.”
Leading logistics providers from around the world have confirmed their enthusiasm to participate in this exciting event. These include logistics providers from Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and San Diego in
the United States; the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Denmark in Europe;
Kunming, Guangzhou and Shanghai in China; Dubai in the U.A.E. and India.
"Prominent overseas logistics providers joining this event will be keen to establish partnership with Thai business entrepreneurs. And in turn, Thai entrepreneurs will benefit greatly from modern logistics services and techniques provided by experts in this field. This will help Thai businesses
to capitalize more through enhanced product distribution capabilities.
Such new-concept methodologies include new techniques in Marketing Management and Product Distribution that have become recently available. We believe that this win-win partnership will eventually help Thailand to generate greater profitability through improved product distribution network and capabilities that extend to reach more of existing and new markets.
Thai entrepreneurs interested in this special event are welcomed to join free of charge. All they need to do is simply contact DEP.", invited Mrs. Jantra.
