Gift & Home Decorative Design Award 2008 is introduced at the Fall edition of BIG&BIH 2008. It is a contest that aims to nurture young product designers of gifts and home decorative items for the lifestyle product industry. The award will also encourage Thai exporters and manufacturers to see the importance of value-added product development. Gift & Home Decorative Design Award 2008 is held under the theme ‘Tomorrow Lifestyles’, focusing on eco-friendly product design. The winners will be awarded with honorary plate and 30,000 baht in cash.
BIG TOYS DESIGN 2008
As part of Design in Thailand exhibition, BIG Toy Design 2008 displays prototypes of toy products created by the award’s contestants. The concept of this year’s contest is ‘Pre-School Toy: ECO Play’ focusing on designing toys for children aged between 3-6 years. The campaign is aimed to develop toy design and production by bringing talent designers into industrial sector.
