Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair 2007 kicks off today with its spectacular grand opening.
 
Deputy Commerce Minister, Her Excellency Oranuj Osatanonda presided over the ceremony before joined by Department of Export Promotion (DEP)’s Director-General, Mr. Rachane Potjanasuntorn and representatives from trade associations,  Mr. Dej Pathanasethpong, Mr. Pramote  Vidtayasuk and Mr. Aphisak Assakul.

Following the ceremony was Bangkok Best, sensational fashion show by Bangkok Fashion Society’s Greyhound, Issue, Muse by Good Mixer, Kloset, Sretsis, Disaya (Boudoir), Good Mixer, Muchu’s and Senada.

About Fair
BIFF&BIL, the largest international fashion trade fair in ASEAN, is organized yearly by the Department of Export Promotion, under Ministry of Commerce, the Royal Thai Government. Under this year’s theme: “Selected Fashion in Bangkok”, the organizer has solicited cooperation from ASEAN partners to fully develop the fair to truly represent the full potential of the ASEAN fashion apparel industry. The fair, carried out in line with the “ASEAN One” strategy, is a show of the region’s unity and the strength of its fashion industry.
