The BIG+BIH 2010 which is the biggest Lifestyle gifts and home decorative products of Thailand, by the cooperation of the Export Promotion Department and the Lifestyle Products Federation will move to be hosted at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) in responding to the need of entrepreneurs and to reinforce the BIG+BIH to become the real international trade fair.

Chairman of Thai Gifts Premiums and Decorative Association Jirabool Vittayasing reveals that the analytical data shows many international trade fairs in Thailand are hosted at the BITEC, especially the fairs that are hosted by international expert like Germany, UK and other European countries. The very important message is that to foreign buyers, BITEC is the key center of the international trade and business fair hosting.

Furthermore, many foreign buyers visit the BIG+BIH fair only up to 2 day period. The hosting of the fair at BITEC will allow foreign buyers and visitors to return to the airport more comfortably as it takes only 15-20 minutes and the BTS (Bangna) will open service soon. This will provide more comfort in transportation to Thai and foreign visitors. Jirabool says "We do every perfect thing for only one reason that is to move ahead in developing the BIG+BIH 2010 fair to reach its success.

Panittha Buri, Director of Marketing and Sales, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC), Thailand reveals regarding the readiness of the BITEC for the fair "In concern with the BIG+BIH 2010 hosting, the exhibition center and the BITEC meeting team has prepared the work readily as up to 1,600 trade exhibitors will participate in the event. The operational team has analyzed the need of BIG+BIH professionally to plan for the event. The initial work will be interview and research questioning the need of foreign buyers who visit the fair and also the fair host which is the Export Promotion Department and the Lifestyle Products Federation. Since the BIG+BIH fair moved in the year 2003, the Eastern area of Bangkok and the BITEC has developed public utilities and transportation greatly, for example, the expressway S1 has completely linked the Eastern part and the outer ring road.

This improves the traffic condition in front of the BITEC and nearby."

"At present, the BITEC center’s gate that is close to the Sukhumvit Road to Samutprakarn is open for the BITEC visitors to pass. Additionally, the parking lot is available for up to 6,000 cars. In the near future, the air-conditioned skywalk, connected to the BTS station will be constructed to allow convenience for visitors who travel by the BTS (Bangna). Now the center also provides free bus service from BITEC to On-nuch BTS station for visitors."

"The center now hosts trade exhibition for both Hi-End customers and for the public such as Jim Thompson, Home Works, Photo Fair exhibition and the Motor Show. As for food service, many well-known restaurants are ready to provide service, including for the BIG+BIH fair.
