What is THAIFEX all about?
THAIFEX – World of food ASIA will be one of the remarkable leading event for food and beverage industry in Southeast Asia, and will be another year of tremendous success and very attractive to exhibitors and visitors than ever before.

What’s new at the fair this year?
THAIFEX ・World of food ASIA 2010 will be the world-class food-industry showcase in Asia to meet, establish your new business networks and to heighten your success. This one-stop food exhibition will feature latest food producing technologies, food safety standards, related businesses and services, as well as, a most fascinating culinary experience from the world of food.

No matter who you are professionally in the food industry ・a manufacturer, an exporter, an importer, a distributor, a wholesaler, a retailer, a department store, a supermarket, a restaurant, a purchaser, a hotel or simply an end-consumer ・you will certainly find something to enjoy at the THAIFEX ・World of food ASIA 2010.

How are the zoning divided?
The event aims to offer a one-stop shopping experience for the latest and the very best in food innovations the world of food has to offer. Among the many exhibition zones featuring 2,100 booths and 1000 exhibitors, the following are highlights not to be missed.

When is the fair open?
The fair is held between June 30th – July 4th . The first three days, are for trade visitors and held between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The last two days, which fall during a weekend, the fair is open to public and open between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Do I need to pre-register to attend as a visitor?
If you plan to attend the fair during trade days, we strongly encourage that you pre-register on our website to avoid long queuing at the fair entrance. However, walk-in visitors with business identifications can also register right there at the fair.

Who can attend?
Anyone in food industry, related businesses and relevant industries and their suppliers can attend the fair during trade days, which we do require either pre-registration or registration at the fair with no admission fee. Visitors under 18 years of age are not allowed to enter the fair. Shorts and sandals are not permitted. During public days, all are welcome.

Do you have the list of participating exhibitors of TIFF 2009?
List of exhibitors and their company profiles and their products are to be posted on the website: http://www.thaitradefair.com/THAIFEX/Exhibitor.aspx/AllExhibitorList And you may view their company information and products through its virtual trade show in order to pre-appointment and matching. The listing will become more comprehensive as we approach the fair dates. How much does it cost to attend the fair? There is no admission fee to attend the fair, only registration during trade days.

May I take photographs in the exhibit halls?
Photography & VDO (are) is not allowed at the fair. Only persons with press badge can take photography.

Can we buy goods at the fair?
Sales of items are not allowed during the trade days, when the main focus of the fairs is on business dealing. However, during public days, exhibitors who are manufacturers may sell samples or inventory goods. In fact, the fair is quite popular among local residents who look forward to finding export quality goods at rather discount prices.
